Originally from Palo del Colle, in the province of Bari, Viviana Bassi is one of the winners of the 2025 Aimo e Nadia Youth Award in the Hall category. This recognition opened the doors to Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia Milano , where she began her professional career last October with a training internship.
Viviana completed her training at the Tommaso Fiore Hotel Institute in Grumo Appula (BA) , distinguishing herself as the best in her class on the recommendation of her professor. This selection allowed her to access the 2025 Aimo e Nadia Youth Award , a highly valuable opportunity that includes a six-month training internship with the possibility of employment.
The competition took place in Molfetta , the hometown of one of the two Chef Patrons of Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia, Fabio Pisani , and was an intense and stimulating experience for Viviana, lived with enthusiasm and emotion.
The theme of the 2025 edition of the Youth Award , dedicated to sustainability and food education , guided her preparation: Viviana chose to present a wine from her region, expertly describing its characteristics, conducting a sensory analysis, and finally completing her presentation to the judges. It was in the dining room test that she truly stood out, winning thanks to a combination of technical precision, passion, and awareness of the value of the region.
Following her award victory, Viviana moved to Milan , enriching not only her professional experience but also her personal one: new friendships, new acquaintances and an ever-expanding vision of the world of hospitality and fine dining.
