Milan, xx November 2023 – The Aimo e Nadia Group made up of the starred restaurant Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia, BistRo Aimo e Nadia and the restaurant-cafeteria VOCE Aimo e Nadia is launching for the first time the “Aimo e Nadia per i giovani” (Aimo and Nadia for young people) award, set up for girls and boys entering the world of catering and designed to pass on those principles and values that the Group has been able to pass on to the new generations of young cooks and chefs, waiters and waitresses, sommeliers, in over sixty years of history.
The 2024 edition will see the collaboration with the Hotelier Institute of Molfetta, Fabio Pisani’s home town and where the Chef studied.
Aimo and Nadia have dedicated their lives to hospitality with passion, tenacity, commitment and humility, setting an example as much for their humanity as for their professionalism and profound knowledge of Italy’s food and wine heritage.
A characteristic of their work has been the perfect combination of their work in the kitchen and in the dining room, with the aim of telling guests about products, places, techniques and processes: a lesson and a method that connects and divulges products, territories and people.
This award, strongly desired by Stefania Moroni and Chefs Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini, is intended to be a concrete recognition for the commitment and skills of all the boys and girls of the Molfetta Hotelier Institute, a support for the new generations ready to launch themselves into the world of catering. This sector, in fact, offers broad prospects: personal, human and professional qualities, which together constitute the true capital available to each student on which to build their future.
For the first year it will be a team challenge between the students of the 4th and 5th classes of the Molfetta Hotelier Institute, with the theme ‘Apulia, a territory to be told‘ (Apulia in dialect refers to the region of the south of Italy Puglia, where the institute is located).
The winner of the first prize will receive a six-month training period at Il Luogo Aimo e Nadia (including board and lodging and monthly reimbursement), followed by employment for a further six months in the company. At the end of the year there will be an advanced training course, defined on the basis of personal aptitudes and predispositions, at ALMA – International School of Italian Cuisine, Colorno.
Gruppo Aimo e Nadia is always on the side of young people and professional knowledge, where commitment, study, research into the territory, relations with producers and artisans, the ability to get involved and work as a team are the foundations both for those who undertake one of the professions dedicated to the dining room and hospitality as well as those of production in the kitchen.
