Il Luogo is a fascinating blend of architecture and design. In an area far from the hustle and bustle of Milan, it has become a must-visit destination over the years, a place with a refined atmosphere. In the latest renovation, spaces, perspectives, volumes and light were redefined. The interiors welcome visitors with a minimalist style, enhanced by fine details of the best Italian design since the 1950s. This fusion of contemporary elements and historical references reflects the essence of Il Luogo and gives it a unique character.
Il Luogo hosts the Theatrum of Flavors. A stage space where the products of our land are the protagonists of convivial appointments and master classes. The Theatrum of flavors, is a place within Il Luogo, an intimate and cozy space that houses an openspace with an open kitchen and two large solid cedar wood tables to welcome guests. Theatrum was created through the project of architecture and interior design professionals, in partnership with a selection of top brands.
Within this framework, the ingredients and raw materials of our territory are the protagonists of group and thematic dinners, tastings, presentations, and personalized experiences with the chef. This space also hosts professional training courses, workshops and international research and development projects. The Theatrum dei Sapori is also a place of study for our collaborators, where concepts are developed, ideas that can enhance the values of Italian cuisine. A place dedicated to both aspiring industry professionals and customers looking for a unique food and wine experience.

A specialist in garden architecture, Emanuele Bortolotti designed all of Il Luogo’s green spaces (Façade, Indoor Garden, Theatrum Forest and ‘Fazzoletto di cielo’) to recreate a welcoming environment that is ecological and natural.
